Padre Island National Seashore

We spent all the weekend in Corpus Christi.

I was there first time and I did not know what to expect afterwards. The city seemed to be a bit boring, but I was positively surprised by the beach.

I have to tell you something - it is nothing better than get up very early in the morning and go to the beach. The water was so hot, sun not too strong and no crowd on the beach.

Corpus Christi offers not only  more than 100 mils soft sand and warm Gulf waters, but also .... birds. So, Corpus Christi is named "America's Birdiest City. You can see here Swainson's Hawks, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Kingfishers and Green Jays.
